JFF to host FIFA course
The Jamaica Football Federation will next week host a FIFA Sub-Regional Technical Directors Seminar.
The purpose of the Seminar is to provide an opportunity for Technical Directors in member associations to gain and share knowledge in important subjects which are essential for their responsibilities.
A release from the JFF this morning, said member associations who will have their respective Technical Directors in attendance are: Anguilla; Aruba; Bahamas; Bermuda; Canada; Curacao; Haiti; Jamaica; Turks and Caicos and US Virgin Islands.
The Head of FIFA's Technical Development Department, Jurg Nepher will lead FIFA's delegation. The other main representatives from FIFA are:
Senior Technical Development Manager, Jean-Marie CONZ
Development Officer, Northwest Caribbean, Angenie Kanhai
Technical Development Officer, Northwest Caribbean, Marcos Tinoco
Technical Development Officer, Southwest Caribbean, Rodrigo Kenton
Technical Development Coordinator, Carolina Rodriguez
CONCACAF'S Director of Development, Hugo Salcedo will also be in attendance.
The JFF said the seminar will be held at the Jamaica Pegasus, May 2 - 6 and will have practical sessions at the JFF Goal Project at the UWI.
The Seminar program will include observation of a game between two youth teams on Monday, May 2 at 4 p.m. and subsequent discussions on game and player observations; game philosophy and talent identification.
The Opening Ceremony will take place on May 2 in the Rio Bueno Suite at the Jamaica Pegasus beginning at 9:00 a.m.
