Jamalco, Dunbeholden lead the way

Jamalco FC and Dunbeholden FC are the respective leaders of the JB Charley's Rum/South Central Super League Zones One and Two, after three rounds of matches.

The Clarendon-based Jamalco are in pole position on seven points, following two wins and a draw. Tru-Juice FC of St Catherine are next on six points, followed by Ricam Academy (3) and Black Star FC (1) in Zone One.

In Zone Two, Dunbeholden are perfect on maximum nine points, ahead of St Bess FC (3) of St Elizabeth, and New Bowens FC and Downs FC on a point apiece.

Dunbeholden, who won the St Catherine Major League last month, are firmly on course for a spot in the next stage.

The winners of the South Central Super League will advance to the play-off for spots in the Red Stripe Premier League next month.

The competition continues tomorrow with four games. The fixture reads: Black Star vs Jamalco at Lacovia Community Centre; Ricam Academy vs Tru-Juice at Brooks Park; New Bowens vs Downs at Jamalco Sports Club; and Dunbeholden vs St Bess at Dunbeholden. All games start at 4 p.m.
